Have you ever witnessed a jaw-dropping event or local scandal that you don't think gained as much publicity as it should've? Or you weren't in town for something, and nobody seems to have the details. Well, the News faction has you covered - dishing out reports constantly for the public.
Just like in real life, reporters are searching for the newest headlines! Gathering information for their upcoming reports by interviewing and investigating matters, no matter how small.
As with most factions, one has to go through an application process (as linked above). What differs from most factions is that the News Faction also tests your writing capability! With two writing prompts, where you have to write out your own reports, allowing you to demonstrate your creativity! If spots are open, reporter applications are checked at the end of the month.
Like many factions, getting a monthly paycheck is dependent on the person! With each report written, a reporter receives ¥50,000 — the max amount, capped at five monthly reports, with ¥250,000.
