Fishing System

Fishing is another way to earn money on SchoolRP. You can head to different fishing locations to find unique types of fish. From the standard fishing pond, the depths of the ocean to even the darkest caves, there will be different fish types for you to catch. You can find a Fisherman at two different locations. Robert's Pond, located in the Ochiba Forest and Bobby's Hut, located at Kaigan Beach. These are the locations in which you can sell your fish and purchase new fishing rods.

Your fishing attribute will allow you to upgrade your fishing rod over time. Each fishing rod has different advantages and perks that come with it's price.

How to Fish

Purchasing your First Rod

You can begin by purchasing a Fishing Rod at one of the known Fisherman Hut locations. There are currently two locations for this, Kaigan Beach and Robert's Fishing Pond.

Choosing your Location

After you receive your fishing rod, choose a location in which you would like to fish in. Each location will offer different types of fish for you to catch.

Casting your Rod

Whilst facing the water, cast your rod by right-clicking. You will have to then wait until something has been caught. The time it takes to catch something on your line, depends on your Rod Type and Fishing Attribute.

Catching your Fish

A GUI will be opened as soon as you begin reeling in your fish. Here, you will have to keep selecting the correct fish for it to be caught. If successful, your fish will be given to you in your inventory.

Standard

Description: A standard fishing rod made from oak wood.

Fiberglass Rod

Description: A fairly strong rod built from fiberglass.

Price: ¥1,500

Required Level: 25

Wait Discount: 10%

Lure Discount: 10%

Carbon Rod

Description: A really strong rod built with carbon fiber, really agile.

Price: ¥2,000

Required Level: 50

Wait Discount: 15%

Lure Discount: 15%

Ultimate Rod

Description: A really strong rod built with carbon fiber, super fast and loaded with premium bait.

Price: ¥2,500

Required Level: 75

Wait Discount: 25%

Lure Discount: 40%

Wait Discount: Time taken off of how long it will take you to get a bite.

Lure Discount: Time taken off of How long it will take for a fish to reach your hook.

Pearl Types

When catching a Oyster, you have the ability to crack them open by Right-Clicking with it in your hand. Within these oysters can drop a collectable, coloured pearl for you to keep. These pearls have no server-sale value and are simply collectable treasures in game which you can trade or keep. Below, a list of available colours can be found:
